A Sweet Journey of Creativity and Connection

In launching Hardly Saints Donuts, Anissa Davidson and Camden Moya took a leap of faith—and they built not only a business, but a community. What began as a dream to serve handcrafted donuts and espresso coffee out of a food truck has blossomed into a thriving venture, with a brick-and-mortar cafe set to open in early 2025. Anissa’s and Camden’s story is a testament to the power of delicious dining to bring people together.

A Mission of Joy and Community

At the heart of Hardly Saints Donuts is a belief in creating joy and connection—and that’s achieved through unique flavors, quality ingredients, and a sense of belonging.

“Whether it’s the first customer of the morning or someone who’s been with us since the beginning, we want everyone to feel a little spark of happiness when they visit,” Anissa and Camden explain.

In their vision for Hardly Saints Donuts’ future, Anissa and Camden want to stay true to the heart and hustle of their food truck days while also expanding their reach. Now, they’re focused on finding a permanent space where their customers can gather, laugh, and share in the joyful environment they’ve worked hard to cultivate.

A Menu Worth Savoring

The delicious menu at Hardly Saints Donuts is also dynamic, inventive, and unique. The handcrafted donut offerings evolve constantly and feature creative flavors, made with real ingredients and zero shortcuts. Seasonal favorites and unexpected flavor pairings prove that there’s always something new to discover for patrons at Hardly Saints Donuts.

A carefully curated drink menu—including expertly crafted espresso beverages, hot chocolate, spiced chai lattes, and the beloved London fog—complements the donut offerings. Together, these pairings make Hardly Saints Donuts far more than just a stop for a snack. It’s an experience.

What Sets Them Apart

In a crowded field of bakeries and cafes, Hardly Saints Donuts stands out for its commitment to creativity, quality, and connection. Anissa and Camden have made it their mission to offer something one-of-a-kind, from the flavors on the menu to the welcoming atmosphere they create for every customer. Their dedication to crafting moments of joy is evident in every detail, whether it’s the perfectly glazed donut or the warm interaction with a loyal patron.

Overcoming Challenges, Celebrating Wins

The journey hasn’t always been smooth. From navigating the complexities of running a mobile business to learning organizational lessons the hard way, Anissa and Camden have met every challenge with resilience and a determination to grow. Through trial and error, they’ve garnered business experience and expertise: A double-booked event early on in their career taught them the importance of careful planning. But a triumph has come out of every challenge. From selling out events to earning the support of a local community that inspires them daily, Hardly Saints Donuts has carved out a niche and earned success.

Looking ahead, their goals are ambitious, yet grounded in their core values. Within the next year, they’ll open their first café, a space designed to be as much about community as it is about coffee and donuts. In the longer term, they’re exploring possibilities for expansion while remaining true to their roots.

Rooted in the South Shore

Anissa and Camden relocated from Texas to the South Shore, where they quickly fell in love with the area’s coastal charm. They were warmly welcomed to the community, where they’ve now become fixtures. With a presence at local farmers markets in Kingston, Pembroke, and Hanover, they’ve formed connections that go far beyond business. Because of their love for the community, they’re committed to giving back—it’s a cornerstone of their business’s ethos. Whether donating leftover donuts to local police and fire stations or supporting nonprofits like Swirls Around the World and A Home for Weary Wanderers, Anissa and Camden  make  it clear that Hardly Saints Donuts is about more than just great food—it’s about making a positive impact.

Advice for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

For those dreaming of starting their own ventures, Anissa and Camden offer this advice: “Stay true to your vision, but be flexible in how you get there. Building meaningful connections with your customers and community can make all the difference.”

As Hardly Saints Donuts prepares for its next chapter, Anissa and Camden are more excited than ever to continue creating, growing, and sharing their passion with the community they hold dear. With every handcrafted donut and heartfelt connection, they’re proving that the sweetest success comes from the heart.
